Day 1 - Fly from Los Angeles in the late evening.

Day 2 - Cross the International dateline.

Day 3 - Arrive in Melbourne, Australia’s second largest city, known for its parks, gardens, trams, architecture, fabulous restaurants, theatre, fashion, and the arts. Transfer by private car to the Luxury Collections Sheraton Southgate Hotel.

Day 4 - City sightseeing tour.

Day 5 - Day of leisure.

Day 6 - Transfer to Melbourne Airport and fly to Launceston, Tasmania. Pick up your pre-reserved rental car and drive to Cradle Mountain Lodge. This is a mountain retreat resort in the heart of a world heritage listed mountain park. Wildlife abounds, including Tasmanian devils. Hiking, horseback riding, fly fishing, and mountain biking are a few suggested activities.

Day 7 - Day at leisure.

Day 8 - Drive to Freycinet National Park, Oyster Bay, and Freycinet Lodge. This is a beautiful, sophisticated wilderness lodge. Sea kayaking, swimming, tennis, golf, and hiking are possible activities. The lodge provides a comprehensive activity program.

Day 9 - Day at leisure.

Day 10 - Drive to Hobart, Tasmania’s historic capital city first settled in 1804. Many original sandstone buildings remain and the quaint waterfront has many antique shops and restaurants. A visit to the Hobart Botanical Gardens is also suggested.

Day 11 - Fly to Adelaide. Transfer by private car to the Hyatt Regency, Adelaide.

Day 12 - A private tour of the beautiful Barossa Valley. This is Australia’s premier wine growing area. Lunch is included.

Day 13 - Transfer to Adelaide for your 2 day / 1 night excursion to Kangaroo Island, a natural habitat for sea lions, seals, kangaroos, koalas, possums, bandicoots and fairy penguins. A small group tour includes an expert guide in a four-wheel-drive vehicle. Accommodations and meals are included.

Day 14 - Fly to Sydney. Upon arrival you will be met and transferred to your hotel the Sheraton on the Park.

Day 15 - Day at leisure to explore this beautiful city.

Day 16 - A private tour of Sydney with a driver and a guide.

Day 17 - Transfer to Sydney Airport for your flight back to the U.S.A.
